Believe in yourself. Believe you are somebody.
Most people choose to believe they are victims.
Making a decision to change ones life begins in our belief that we are not a captive of our past.
Meaning the product of how we are raised or the influences of our environment does not have to impede us providing we decide to respond to these events proactively. I am often asked if the person is a product of nature or nurture?
Then I go on to explain how as humans unlike animals we have the choice to decide what we will make of our life. Certainly there are people with less opportunity than others. There are people who have been powerfully deprived.
That period between stimulus and response we can change providing we take responsibility and initiative until eventually your response can literally change very stimulus of your life. Meaning how you respond. How you choose to think.
This applies very forcefully to abusive situations. We don’y have to mimic what has occurred in our life in order to thrust it upon someone else. We have the capacity to break free of anything that has happened in our past.
However, limited ones opportunities may appear if one takes what space is available and choose to expand it incrementally they will discover they have arrived at a greater station in life than they would have ever imagined. That is success.
Hence, to decide rather than permit is self determination. Being able to make the choice to live life to the fullness of ones choosing.
Eliminate your fears and build rock solid self-confidence to achieve all of your goals. You’ll learn how to: Harness the power of self-confidence to completely transform your life.
