In the movie Joe vs The Volcano Joe is convinced he has the debilitating illness of a “Brain Cloud.” His world is replete with dreary gray masses. He is stuck. Meg Ryan’s character says him something poignant, “My father says that almost the whole world is asleep…everybody you know, everybody you see, everybody you talk to. He says that only a few are awake and they live in a state of constant, total amazement.”

Changing a habit is hard work. Of course all habits are the results of seemingly inconsequential actions. Your comfort zone will be challenged. The closer you get to to goal the more fear you feel that “This isn’t for me. Did I raise the bar too much?”

Remember whatever you are feeling you can switch it off. Make the fear smaller like a whisper. Make your goal larger with your favorite song booming a bright colors.

The point is to focus your intent with what your gut leads you to. That would be a life of greater meaning.
